How a Startup's Innovative SaaS Application Transformed Event Marketing Analytics
Event Marketing & Analytics
Our client, a burgeoning startup in the event marketing space, recognized a significant gap in the market. Companies advertising at music festivals and trade fairs lacked the tools to quantify and assess the effectiveness of their on-site promotional efforts. Without tangible metrics, advertisers struggled to identify areas for improvement or justify marketing budgets.
The startup's vision was to bridge this analytical void. They wanted a software solution that could capture, analyze, and present data in a manner that would enable advertisers to make data-driven decisions.
We kickstarted the process by collaborating with the client to understand their specific needs and industry nuances. The result was a user-friendly interface, streamlined to cater to advertisers of all tech skill levels.
With its component-based architecture and high performance, React was the choice for the frontend. It ensured a seamless user experience, allowing advertisers to quickly navigate through the application and access their desired metrics.
For the backend, Nest.js, a progressive Node.js framework, was employed. This enabled a scalable, maintainable, and testable application. Its modular architecture allowed for easy integration of additional features and third-party services.
Recognizing the diverse range of data sources advertisers might utilize, Browserbite developed a robust application to handle various ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) processes. This ensured data from various touchpoints could be aggregated efficiently, offering a holistic view of the advertising efforts.
By understanding the unique challenges of the event marketing sector, Browserbite and the startup client co-created a solution that not only addressed the industry's analytical void but set a new standard for measuring on-site advertising success.
With the new SaaS application, advertisers can now quantify the success of their promotional campaigns at festivals and trade fairs. They can assess metrics, identify trends, and make informed decisions for future events.
By providing measurable outcomes, companies could optimize their advertising strategies, ensuring they get the best bang for their buck.

We designed the application based on an initial high-level draft from the client.
We built one frontend application and one API for the application to interact with third party services as well as one ETL application that aggregated raw data and transformed into a format that could be displayed easily in the frontend in forms like charts and tables.
